I have more then a few M4's lol. All are carbines but two are standard M4s with a fixed front sight post. I just love that look. Its more like the M16 Retro Carbines. I have wanted to build a Retro rifle for some time. Right now i have purchased abount 5 rifles worth of parts and just have not had to the time to build them…..LOL It took me about 3yrs to accumulate the parts for all of them and i may actually still need a gas tube here or a buffer spring there….hehe but 99.999 % of all the parts are there. So i just started looking around ot make it an even 6 rifles worth of parts ,so then i can set up my man cave ,as my wife calls the room she sends me too when the inlaws are coming by! LOL O just added a small work area in the corner of my Den as i call it, that has a nice solid work bench with just a bit more then enough room to slap a 24" barreled rifle in a vice on and still have room to set up the parts im working with at the time. Plenty of storage and all just under a window facning my bird feeders!hehe Very Zen! In any case i want to build that retro rifle now as well and u would want it to be the most exact clone as i can get of a Vietnam era rifle….. So what upper would you suggest? Even though most say you dont need a forward assist i feel it cant hurt. But overall which would you think i should go with out of these uppers you have here? Great video though bro! helpful in my quest! hehe
I have two an old dpms a2 carbine with a 1/9 I adore it was a fun project about 2000 dollars with mags and great parts and a monolith side charger from bear Creek that was 450 all in for terribly tacticals poverty pony contest the a2 is the best analog gun in the family but unless you wanted the ban era gun I did a modern is more useful

any one know why these are impossible to find.
That C7 is peak sexy. Wish a large company would start making them for the market.
I want to build an A-1 style but the uppers are all on back order and hard to get.
FYI … feed ramps are only helpful in full auto,
Did they ever make any without the FA but with the brass deflector?
Very cool
