Binocular repair for double vision. I was seeing two images in my binoculars separated by about half of the field width after returning from Oahu this winter. I have had these for a very long time and they are some of the best I have used for there size and I wanted to have them working again. So I fixed them!

  1. I have a similar pair of Nikon binoculars, which have "double vision," just as you described. I'm looking forward to trying your method to try to get the great images that these binoculars are capable of. Thanks for making this video.

  2. Thanks for the video. I have the same binoculars and your video helped me get them adjusted. I found the interior set screw for the horizontal alignment worked, not the clip. It is odd they have the vertical alignment screw available under that plastic cover, but the horizontal needs to be accessed by removing the case.

  3. Thanks! I have a set of WW1 Lefils Paris Prism Binoculars that are damaged and out of alignment. I'm pretty sure the Treaty of Versailles said the Central Powers were supposed to make reparations but they did not so now I'm stuck doing it!

Also you will also need to listen to this while you do this procedure.
