@Hoplopfheil is back at the FN booth for NRAAM 2023 show to talk about the new FN15 Guardian rifle. The Guardian is meant to be FN’s latest rifle offering that omits some of the more expensive components that are normally on their rifles, to give their customers a more budget friendly option that still maintains the high quality you’ve come to expect from the FN name.

Hop absolutely mogged scott there
I’d go with the PSA Sabre over this..better quality, more features, better looking
Best bang for buck would be a blem Aero M4E1 lower and a Psa Sabre Upper, I reliably have shot 1k rounds through it and I’ve only had it a month
Gross another budget monolithic upper
"Redesign"
Man we really just throw words around 😅 there's NOOO WAYY these sell right? Such a stupid option at a ridiculous ("affordable") price.
That st victor add is fuckin awful.
My entry to FN was a SCAR17s. I didn't buy an FN because I wanted an entry-level gun…. but this guardian is an attempted to hit the market they're missing out on that every other manufacturer makes bank on.
MSRP of $999? Entry level my ass
Meh
My $399-499 Andro Arms ar is good enough for me
The lack of a forward assist is BS. That’s going to hamper its sales. It would have been better to go the route of the Colt Expanse and at least provide the tube for the forward assist so you could add it later if you wanted. I’d rather get a Sig Tread.
How TALL are these guys?Nice rifle video shots are off a bit………..
Interesting. I still feel that the best move is buying an Aero lower, building that out (Desperation Deer, or Poverty Pony are viable too) and then you build or select an upper of your choosing. That could just be due to the fact I find quite a bit of satisfaction in the whole process.
Looks goofy af
This upper is identical to the AT3 uppers that have been out for a few years 🤔
PSA has been doing this for years
Fueling Al Gore's Rhythm.
Iwi Zion offers better for about 200 less… or spend 300 more and get an LWRC if you can wait for blackfriday
stop reomoving the bolt forward assist
Good on FN.
Honestly this thing is not a deal, way better off with a Aero, or one of the new PSA Sabres
Sounds like fn and psa's relationship is getting steamier. We have psa rifles, with fn barrels, now we have fn rifles with what I'm guessing are psa parts and barrel. I mean, they are in the same town.
Talkin to Scott, hopin to get the low down… and nobody laughs? The guy's like 18" shorter than Hop!
<IWI Zion or PSA Sabre
Shout out to Scott for reminding us that Hop is a cartoonishly tall manchild.
Live long and prosper
Either Hop is 7ft or that guy is a hobbit.
Probably a better deal to just get a PSA and learn to do QC yourself.
I like that you could get a PSA with an actual FN CHF barrel for like $300 less lol
Somewhere Palmetto State Armory, Bear Creek Arsenal and Radical firearms owners are "laughing" at the fact a major firearms manufacturer is now producing an affordable firearm……..after probably realizing their firearms which are high quality are expensive to the everyday firearm's consumer….
😂 holy crap. They should have got Scott a box to stand on, or Hop should have went on his knees. Those camera switches had me dying.
Fore arms
Hop walking around like Gandalf the Gray amongst them halflings.
It looks like FN was inspired by the rifle James Reeves cobbled together to compete with Hops rifle
nothing wrong with more competition
This ain’t it chief. A budget AR should be closer to 500 than 1000. Like 800 tops. If this is objectively advertised as inferior quality compared to military FN rifles, why would I spend 1k on this FN instead of getting a beater PSA or M&P sport II?
