I got mine in flat dark earth & I’ve already put a few 100 rounds through it, so far i love it. It’s well built. Gen 2 pmags give a bit wobble, but the other mags fit like a glove.
I have completely built gun from them and its great. i have zero issues with the lower and upper, though I did swap out the BCG for a lantac milspec bcg. My gas key also was not staked properly, and it came loose, but i was going to buy a higher quality bcg anyways. Upgrading the bcg and the charging handle made this gun even smoother than what it was, and it was a noticeable difference when shooting.
the bcg is standard low-end stuff. (probably to cut costs, using cheaper parts in it, probably a sub $100 bcg). I've shot about 600 rounds out of mine so far (having it for only 1 month) consuming 5.56 frontier brass 55 gr, .223 winchester match hbpt brass 69 gr, .223 tula steel 55gr, and .223 norma brass 55gr, and the gun ate all of it with pin point accuracy.
The only thing concerning is the actual quality of the barrel. On the GLFA website, they are selling .223 wylde 4150 nitride barrels for $109. (they also sell 416R – SS barrels that are extremely accurate but idk the price) and thats pretty damn cheap considering barrels go for like minimum $175+.
When you buy any gun (or part) at this price from a smaller brand like GLFA, its going to have quality control issues. i picked mine up from a local store near in the Chicagoland area, and besides the BCG swap, i have had zero issues.
I’m seeing these everywhere I just don’t know how I feel about them. I don’t mind if it comes in just a cardboard box as long as the gun is good. BTW I’m in Michigan so that’s probably why I’m seeing on the racks
The fore grip is better than the one that comes with the more expensive Saint. It has the rail the entire length which gives you that much more flexibility with pop up sights and optics. These ARs are flawless.
Thanks for the unboxing man I was considering getting one in 450 bushmaster for hunting deer in my state there isnt much as far as firearms calibers that you can hunt with on public land

Cut toward your buddy, not your body!

I own 3. 2 in 223 and one in .350 Legend. I dont think that you can buy a better quality AR for the money.
