What if the ATF is doing this just because they know they'll get sued on this, what if the whole point is they want gun industries to come in to the courtroom and tell them just exactly how many they've sold to prove they're in common use just as a means of getting a better idea of how many are actually out there.
Anyone that is still saying “this is not the hill to die on” will never get in the fight. They will sit quietly and let real patriots fight for them.

Glad CMMG doing this but tell Jeff his company lost a sell of 2 rifles in 2022 and any and all possible future cmmg rifle purchases. Placed the order and never heard back from anyone at ccmg until 14 months later. Bought 2 rifles from a company who wanted my money .
I will be buying more from CMMG. Especially to witness the DISSENT of the AFT! Get it?!
We can’t allow ATF to redefine guns because eventually they will redefine your favorite gun. This is an important fight.

As to this being the hill to die on, absolutely it is.
The bump stock ban has already been ruled unconstitutional by the 5th U.S. Circut Court of Appeals. The ATF blatently and criminally overstepped their authority here.
We are operating within the boundary of the Constituion, the government ISN'T!!!!
We absolutely can win this, and with it, the government will be shown they can't violate any of the rights guaranteed to us by the Constitution.
A simple piece of plastic or rubber attached to the back of a pistol does not make it a SBR, and up until Joe Biden told the ATF otherwise, they agreed with that. They can't come back now and change their minds to the point where they make everyone who has one an instant felon without us objecting to it and bringing multiple lawsuits against them for it.
According the Caetano ruling by the Supreme Court, 200,000 items are "in common use" so 3 milliong IS IN COMMON USE per the Supreme Court's ruling.

Even an inch of loss on any one of our God given rights, constitutional rights and freedoms are a mile to far!!! The sentiment of the atf and anti-gunners is to spend ungodly time and money to just ban guns instead of the arduous task of truly addressing the real issues that should be addressed!! Like mental health and (not all) local , state and federal government following up in a meaningful way the tips on individuals hinting at or outright saying they are going to use a firearm to commit a crime!! No it is the governments preferred methode to harass the law abiding gun owners as opposed to constructively asking us law abiding citizens to join in the effort to help stop these gun crimes and help to spot those experiencing mental health issue which thru years of condemnation those with mental health problems have been treated as such that when they get to the point of having to get help feel it's so taboo that they will be cursed for life and loose everything that in stead of trying to get assistance to get better they choose a path that isn't good for them or anyone else ! And that's too hard for government so they choose to condemn the law abiding citizens!!!
