  1. I’d take a PSA over a radical, diamondback, or Anderson. But the best budget AR out right now is the IWI Zion hands down. But don’t buy budget. If your going to do it do it right and get a BCM, Solgw, Sionics, FN, or build one.

  2. Great choices of quality affordable battle rifles. (By the way, they are not "cheap," they are affordable).
I personally own a Diamondback, a Radical Firearms, and a Palmetto State Armory. All three are excellent AR-15 rifles. I have no complaints about any of them.
Having said that, my very favorite is the IWI Z-15 Tactical. The IWI is a faaantastic, great quality, reliable rifle, and well-built at an amazing price point. I highly recommend it.

  3. Advice for beginners is to pass, save and buy something better. Bcm, Solgw, Geissele, DD, Lwrc etc. Once you learn to build your gun (I don't mean buying an upper and lower and piecing them together) you'll find out fast the lack of quality control put into these brands. These companies take advantage of the fact that most people don't shoot enough. When you do you'll find out real quick the deficiencies of these brands. This advice I did not have hen I started.

  4. Deals are out there right now, bought a BCM 16” SOCOM upper 2 weeks ago, came with a free BCM BCG for $560 shipped, bought a stripped Aero Lower and LPK, used some spare parts that I had accumulated, got about $750 in the actual rifle. That’s dirt cheap for a true duty grade rifle. I threw an Aimpoint PRO, Streamlight HLX and a sling on it and it’s a solid setup.

  5. I built an AR about a year ago for less than 500. I bought an Alex Pro firearms lower receiver for 130 bucks, 149 dollar PSA complete upper, and a 99 dollar lower parts kit from PSA. It runs like a champ.

  6. I enjoyed hearing about some rifles I’ve never heard of being purchased from a place I’ve never heard of. But have to say S&W sport 2 beats all these in both price and reliability IMHO. Why build a Frankenstein AR when you can get a cheap S&W sport 2 and customize it?

  7. No Particular order. All are unded 1k..
    1. IWI ZION..
    2. PSA Premium with FN HF Barrel..
    3. BA 556n Hanson With Logic MLOK Rail..
    4. BA 223W Hanson Premium Black Series With Logic MLOK Rail..
    5. SOLGW East India Upper With SOLGW Milspec Lower..

  8. Stag are so under rated but over deliver on performance especially when you factor in their lifetime barrel guarantee. 👍👍🇺🇸 The S&W sport2 & PSA are solid entry level ARs. The IWI are supposed to be great but I have not handled one yet. I would add Windham Weapontry ARs too, they are greet.

  9. Built ar radical 18 223 wild complete upper ,free bcg from pa with purchase of 10 mags. Radical upper on sale 200.00 Areo lower and charging handle. Had old rear sight and stock. Bought front sight, went to Houston to pick up lower,( drank with brother in law and bicker cousin) primary arms. Total build $530.00 saved money by taking road trip.

  10. I’m newer to buying guns but if always loved them, growing up with my cousins I got to shoot them all the time out on their ranches, I’m wondering tho what’s the stag one called specifically? I’m kind of a newbie at this

  11. Just got a PSA 556 for a spare prairie dog gun. Was going to swap BCG& barrel if it didn't shoot. No worries, it shot sub moa with 50 vmax & 55 blitzkings!! Unreal how well it shot!!!

  12. All my Ar15's I have built myself. Several use a TN Arms Co polymer lower, including my 50 Beowulf with no issues at all. Sure I have several aluminum lowers too and no problem with any of them. I have a few pistols in a polymer frame too but I doubt that will ever catch on 🙂

  13. I just bought the higher end DB-15 Diamond series in Midnight Bronze. After taking the gun apart to clean and inspect it’s a well built gun and QC appears to be tight and right. Have not shot it yet but the weapon is built well. The CMC 3.5 pound trigger is wonderful

  14. My humble opinion 2 years deep into AR platform and tons of research on prices, quality, reliability I believe Dimondback, Palmetto , & Bear Creek Arsenal make tons of good parts and will not break the bank. With that said, Mr. Elliot been watching your videos for a good 2 years give or take I don't believe I have seen a review on Bear Creek Arsenal. Respectfully.

  15. I only consider PSA to still be budget tier on this list. All the others have marked up prices a lot since covid started and haven't come down. Meanwhile Bear Creek Arsenal sells some complete or buildable rifles for under $500 and mine shoots without any issues. It's ridiculous to consider an ar-15 "budget" when it cost almost a $1000 or over after taxes

  16. IMO budget should be under $800 – mine would include Anderson AM15, S&W M&P sport II, Ruger AR556, PSA AR15…. Since yall went to $1000 or even more, Aero PRecision should have been there. Stag is def top if you are left handed since they cater to them. YOu should do Tier videos. Tier 1 – Budget. Tier 2 – 800-1200. Tier 3 – 1200-1800. Tier 4 – exotic c wild prices. Great video just throwing my 2 cents in.
