How Accurate Is A $500 AR15 (Shooting 770 Yards)

I was curious, if I took an inexpensive complete lower, and an inexpensive complete upper (with a free float barrel and 1/7 twist) and put the two together, how accurate can I expect this rifle to be? So that’s what I did and the rifle ended up quite a bit under $500. (Without accessories) So that being said, how do y’all think it performed?

  2. Thank you for the Video. I just bought my 1st Ar15 in 556 with a 16 inch barrel. I bought a S&W MP for around $850. I am very happy with it. I was watching the tall grass blow when you were shooting. Pretty strong gusts.

  3. $500 on a weapon where the cost to the manufacture was maybe $100? Prices are just numbers, performance is what matters. Especially with AR's where whatever is going on is the media tends to jack up the price

  4. PTOBLEM…Im just curious how accurate this coud be, so im going to shooy it in a hurricane. LMAO. what you should have done is first thing, dont do it on a windy AF day. Second is put the scope on the completed base rifle. third, put all of your crap in it and on it then shoot. Then prove you feelings with backed up data, because rhe way you went about it its all feelings / subjective

  5. Would definitely be nice to see this one revisited. The target cam was jumping around the whole time and with wind noise it was really hard to hear the hits. It was basically a “take my word for it” video which is fine I’ve seen psa guns preform that well but don’t prove a lot to the naysayers

  6. Love the concept, one question are you expecting best accuracy on a fresh barrel? And a 5.56 at 700yds with full value cross wind +gusty af? Damn bro… 77gr or not I'm going to say your test has some extremes that may not provide the kind of data you're looking for

  7. put it on a fixed mount and shoot at 100 yards and measure the grouping. Instead of complaining about conditions you could just wait for better conditions then film. My gun gripe is most manufacturers don't post their gun performance. Why pay 6 grand for a gun if another can do the same performance for just 1 grand?

  8. yeah definitely take it out again man without the wind, and you should alternate between the cheap rifle and the spr and compare groups at the same time so you can feel the differences more effectively between both
