This new optic from Vortex has a feature that ranges and calculates your exact hold to achieve first round impacts. The hold is displayed within the optic. What happens when it breaks and the soldiers who have no idea how to use anything else*because obviously in society we have become numb to doing analog things* defintely can see alot of pros about this sight. And it's amazing technology. But defintely alot of cons to it.

Great tech. The problem with this kind of stuff is always the same. The bot aims for you and that's great but the day the bot stops working (for whatever reason), you don't know how to aim on your own.

Doesn't anyone think an optic limited to a max of 8 power is a little weak for a rifle that easily pulverizes things out past 1200 meters? I mean my atn 2.5×25 blows this thing out of the water with a 45° red dot setup. And my atn doesn't have wires that have to be plugged into it. It does everything this optic does and more.

This is behind the times. Burris made a similar scope a decade ago. It would range the target and move the point of aim based on the range of up to 1200 yards.
