  1. Pretty sweet, although tools? Are tools required to get the AR put together? That’s why I liked the idea of buying a complete one to start and upgrade parts as I go if I so decide or have need to do so later on. Just got a Radical Firearms FR-16 with the 15” RPR free float hand guard and 16” barrel with MFT furniture (minimalist stock and a grip, unsure which model) on a Black Friday sale at my local favorite gun shop/range for $480 and change out the door with a free range pass, ammo can, and magpul moe 30rd pmag included. Took my first shots after a good initial cleaning and lubrication and installation of Magpul Mbus 3 iron sights and AFG-2 at 18 yards (longest I can at my indoor range, going to a friend’s land for longer range in a bit) and it was very smooth and accurate. Picked up a Redfield Ace red dot + magnifier combo at Academy on sale as well, will update the dot to the Redfield Ace Solar when I get the funds. I’d recommend the Radical for people wanting to start out at a low price and upgrade as you go
