The new CMMG Dissent is a new design that looks like an AR15, and has some parts commonality with the AR15, but isn’t an AR15. It has more in common with the Sig Virtus / SPEAR LT. The CMMG Dissent is offered in 300 Blackout, 5.56 and 5.7×28.

awesome design but I wish it retained the classic charging handle.
I just bought a Deadair Sandman S to shoot on my BCM 9” 300 BLK; loving the concept of a suppressed 300 BLK for self-defense. I am looking at picking up one of these or another side folder in 300. Great review MAC!
CMMG never disappoints. I remember watching a torture test on the Mutant and it went through 1255 rounds on full auto before the gas tube failed. Very impressive and a damn good brand!!👍👍
CMMG always makes clever & expensive guns that for some reason are always in terrible colors & aesthetically ugly. I dunno what it is but they always have this generic look that inclines me to not be interested in a purchase.

I'd choose the Rattler over this simply because I have no idea how I would mount an IR device and WML on this and still be able to charge the gun.

You mumbled something at 22.09 about running subs but I couldn't understand what you said and you blew it off. The only reason I would buy this would be to run subs, so that wasn't a great part of an otherwise first rate video

My only gripe with the Dissent is also the charging handle. Wish it had a folder or a dual folder. Kind of silly to have a slim, small package with a big charging handle sticking out.
