  1. Maybe the most surprising group of lights we've tested! You can find our top picks here with the rest of our winners: https://www.amazon.com/shop/torquetestchannel The 2010R isn't in stock anywhere yet.
We've now made a bolt expectations poster! https://torque-test-channel.preview.teespring.com/listing/bolt-expectations-poster?product=623

  2. I was under the impression that β€œeveryone” knew that Fenix lights were one of the best. I haven’t seen them in your videos. I see companies like Olight that are trying to follow Fenix’s success.

  3. Since I've watched this video a month ago, I have been trying to get the Milwaukee in Ireland. I have concluded it's easier to buy uranium or cocaine than it is the Milwaukee 2010R.

  4. Great review! In my experience the Coast lights corrode causing flickering and failure very quickly, when used with the mouth hold method and brake easily when dropped, Coast does warranty them but charges $5 plus the cost of sending them in for a repair/replace. I used to wait until I had 2 or 3 bad ones before sending for warranty to save on cost. The Streamlights are good but I like the Olights the best

  5. I would never buy a flashlight that you can't replace the battery. That's one of the most important signifiers to stay away.

It would be nice to see more reputable brands that have a proven track record for selling quality products. There's general market awareness issues with the flashlight industry that's been ongoing for years, mostly their own fault, but one of them is the fact that general tool or tech reviewers take requests for which brands or models to sample from their audience, then the users which have no idea that the majority of good flashlights are not marketed well or sold in widely available stores then go on to request what they see and know around them; the cheap and chintzy offerings from places like supermarkets, and grocery, hardware, convenience and automotive stores.

None of these places carry quality products when it comes to flashlights. (there are a few arguably decent outliers like streamlight, ledlenser and olight) You might find some in camping/outdoor/sporting goods shops but even then the offering is kind of scarce. This feedback loop persists through years where people don't get exposed to what's out there. It would be nice to see some more high value (meaning the quality to price ratio is astronomically higher) brands being highlighted. Just to name a few, Nitecore, Fenix, Thrunite, Acebeam, Manker, FourSevens, Lumintop, and Wuben all have great pen lights that are lower, at, or slightly above the set price range and are far superior to what's available at common foot traffic stores and every product on this list. (aside from the streamlight) I did not watch your last pen light video so sorry if you included any of these or other good brands already in that one.

  6. milwaukee not acces to battery for me thats a zero rating… well made lamp could last more than 10 year, and event more than 25…. the battery will never last that… no battery change? lifespan 1 to 4 yr

  7. Lol that water pump joke 🀣🀣 the amount of people ive had to show that the MX13 in their DAF is chucking coolant out the seal by the water pump is crazy πŸ’€

  8. What's really hard to find are sensible on/off switches that can be used without moving your hand or having to scroll through settings. Perhaps two separate switches, one for changing settings and one that just toggles between the last setting and off. Or fck me how about just a simple on & off thumb switch on the barrel?!!

Lights that light up are fairly easy to find. Ones built with a scintilla of thought… not so much.

  9. Still no Surefire? I know they are pretty expensive but I have the keychain Titan model that I have carried in my pocket for years and love it. And I’m pretty convinced that they are as close to indestructible as reasonably possible.

  10. my EDC for the last year(ish) has been Olight's OPen2… Thing has surprisingly been a tank. it's been dropped dozens of times, fell off a pier into 33 feet of water (was still on when I went to get it, only reason I found it), and even took a day-long dunk in a diesel sump, including 4 hours of runtime at 160-175 degrees F, before I could get it back.

  11. When you say corn hole I immediately think you're shoving pens up your butt lol

No judgment, you do you, it's just funny hearing you say different descriptors for mouth and then using one that, at least for most of my region, means anus.

  12. The term "cornhole" does not refer to one's mouth, but rather the other end of the digestive tract. Origin? In the old days on the farm, corn cobs were a soft and disposable item used as a cleaning tool.

  13. I've carried the Streamlight Stylus as my EDC light for years……..that would be years of misuse and abuse. This has been the best EDC light that I've ever carried. I actually liked it so much that a couple of years ago, I bought a replacement for when it goes bad (which is still sitting in my desk drawer).

  14. a small flashlight, with a pivoting locking joint on the back end with a magnet would be so nice. you could stick it to the under side of your cars hood, and the pivoting locking joint would always ensure the flashlight would be pointing where you wanted it.
