10 Things You Didn’t Know About the AR 15 (AR-15 Facts)
First developed in the 1950s for civilian use, the AR-15 rifle was named after its manufacturer, Armalite. Considered America’s rifle, the AR-15 is emblematic of gun culture in the United States. Gun enthusiasts herald it for its versatility and power, whereas gun control advocates loathe its role in so many mass shootings. The AR-15 has a storied history. Over the years, it has evolved to become one of the most popular firearms in the U.S. — and the weapon of choice for mass shooters. Despite its lethal reputation, little has been done on the federal or state level to regulate this type of rifle.
We gathered the top facts about AR 15 that explore what sets this gun apart from the rest.

#ar15#pistol #tactical AR 15 facts, when was the first AR 15 made history of AR-15,
For today's video we gathered 10 facts about the AR 15.
The ar15 came first for civilians then the military burst and full auto versions afterwards.
Lol. We have faaaarrrr more ARs than that.
Strictly semiautomatic.*
My personal favorite based off data is an ar15 with a 16inch 1:8-1:9 twist shooting the 62 grain rounds. The ar15/m16 will be around long after I'm dead I know that for sure. There are other guns out there that are really good. But nothing is the same. The ar15 and the ak47 are my favorite rifles hands down
Me. Cracks knuckles…. let's see how true this video is.
So first complaint is the price range is far greater than that. If you know were to look you can get an ar15 for as little as $300. I got a palmeto state armory ar15 for 300 then I added upgrades to it bringing the value to about $450. Literally my only comment. Really glad to see a very informative video on ar15s. Loved the video
It would have been nice if you had mentioned that some of those calibers only fit the AR-10 platform.
Missed a spot–like the Thompson submachine gun, the M16 was repeatedly rejected for failing military trials–until politics and war forced that gun on the Army.
2:43 "That a civilian strictly automatic version was soon produced." …Don't you mean semi automatic?
Cover the Brady Bill plz
Boring too slow and tedious
FACT: The AR15 shoots 5x faster than any other boolit and just how a 9mm blows the lung clean out of the body, the AR15 blows both lungs, the heart, the spleen, the appendix and the duodenum.
I'm loving this channel. I wish someone on your team took a few minutes to list everything in the description and time stamp it. You've got so much good info you have stuff I'd like to reference again later. I know, I know, beggars can't be choosers, lol… but it would be helpful. Thanks for your work!
The AR-10 platform is capable of firing 308 and 30-06 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Damn if only I can have an M16 without needing to be in the military and if it was only legal in California. But I'm definitely getting an AR-15.
while i fully appreciate the versatility and modularity of the AR15 (and its a heluvalotta fun to shoot!) i still prefer my mini14 with the wooden stock. call me old school cuz thats what i am 😉
I'm watching
AR-15 to bring down a tyrannical regime 💯🎯🤫
There's no such thing as a strictly civilian automatic AR-15 dumbasses!
One more fact, every time we shoot our ar15s, Joe Biden loses another neuron.
👍😎🍺🍩💥
The AR 15 is the most popular rifle in US history
