The forgrip is missing on this weapon. The gas tube and barrel gets very hot with one or two rounds (shots) fired. It gets hot enough to blister skin and turn oil into vapor. Not being able to hold the front of the weapon resulted in less control and may have saved many lives. He was there to share misery and to die, suicide by cop, in my opinion.
Parents tried getting the gun taken away but thanks to the hard work of gun nuts everywhere, they failed.
