The EOTECH EXPS3 Holographic Weapon Sight is a lightweight, non-magnifying, optical sight designed for close to mid-range engagements. It provides very fast target acquisition and engagement at short ranges while providing aiming capability out to 300 meters equal to or better than iron sights. The EXPS3 features easy-to-adjust side buttons, a quick-detach lever, and a transversely-mounted lithium CR123A battery. The increased height of the EXPS creates a lower 1/3 cowitness with iron sights.

  10. What's not to love? The glass and reticle are amazing. If I was anything besides a range plinker and sometimes competition shooter, I'd spend the money and have a few. Thankfully, there are plenty of other options at far less money for us non operators. LoL I do love the EO Techs though.

  22. I have this exact model EXPS3-0 and has worked flawlessly. I have shot other red dot and the eotech 1MOA dot for some reason allows me to have better accuracy shooting not only close but also far distance without a magnifier. I wonder if people having issues with them bought the fake/airsoft models.

  25. No reason to get this if you don't use NODS. For some reason they haven't added shake-awake yet. The 512.A65 is still the best EOtech for normal people. More affordable and AA batteries are easy to source. Even easier if you use rechargeable AAs.

  27. I used to always want an eotech…. I’m glad i researched them a lot before i made the decision. I’ve seen so many failures with them and don’t really see the point unless i was going to get night vision.

    To bad we can’t find out if this one breaks with a drop test 😂, i think just in the last week I’ve seen 5-6 broken eotechs in various forums. One the whole board was floating inside,another would only go up to 5 on the brightness and a few other things electronic related. My buddy has one that won’t get bright and every time you turn it on it starts at the dimmest setting,it barely gets bright enough to see and the reticle flickers bad. It’s an old one so idk if it needs upgraded or possibly it’s a fake he is supposed to contact eotech this week sometime.
