I prefer the M-4/M-16 A2 and M-203 with a grenade launcher myself. These are the weapons I was trained on in the army( active duty ) and used in Iraq with the Texas National Guard,did 4 deployments ( I volunteered for all 4 tours ) my first tour was with an infantry unit at Camp TQ,I did 1 yr and 6 months of combat missions in Iraq. We also did joint ops with the marines at TQ,I did 2 tours back-to-back. GO-GUARD !!! LOL. At Camp TQ the average temperature was 140 degrees,when the temp dropped down to 90 degrees I was shivering. Crazy huh ??? Did numerous raids,arrested/detained countless Iraqees/insurgents,had rpgs/rockets fly a few feet above my head,traser rounds bouncing all around me,fire-fights from hell. LOL. If we weren't getting shot at it was unusual.

Many people install the Magpul hand guard and grip. I'd say the Magpul stock but since your freedom hating state doesn't allow adjustable stocks I'm not sure it would be worth it but it would be at least comfortable.

It makes me sad to see that neutered rifle. No threaded barrel, no adjustable stock, no standard mag = sad me

i got that same M&P15 as my first rifle but I got the free world version because I live in the U.S. I also got one for my son.

On ebay you could probably get some 10rd full size mags

Dude your barrel is not threaded. That means you have to have your barrel modified to put a flash hider, break or any kind of muzzle device on it…..

I got my first AR about 11 or 12 years ago and I was so excited when I got it home. I couldn't stop holding it and looking at it and racking the charging handle, lol. This video reminds of that.

Don’t use the forward assist it’s more of a quicker way to break the rifle, it’s made for when the rifle doesn’t go all the way into battery but your better off just cycling the rifle, using the forward assist is a small piece of metal inside and if you hit it hard enough it’ll just snap. Congrats on joining the gun world it’s a big place💯

1st upgrades you want is Magpul Handgaurd, stock SL or SL-S, and MOE grip imo
