The AR-10 is one of the most common precision rifles in the U.S.A. The AR-10 is the starting point not only for most modern battle rifles but for most Western semi-auto rifles in general. It would go on to spawn the AR-15 and all of its variants, making it the progenitor of arguably the most popular firearm family in the world. The original AR-10 design field stripped. In this video, we will show the assembly of an AR-10 Upper Receiver from individual parts.

If you are using Aero Precision lower parts kit with Aero Precision lower receiver, you will encounter a problem installing the magazine release, it is too short, made for both AR-15/AR10/308, and the button from AP is longer for building the AR308. Times three builds.
Awesome
Great Demonstration I love the color scheme.
Wow this helped a shit load. I love the rear takedown pin on the M5 .. SO MUCH easier to install than the traditional way
Best video I've ever seen about building lowers no bullshit straight to the point. People take notes this is how it should be done
Excellent
not an AR-10
best video yet, i finally get how the stock trigger works!! thank you so so so so much man, save me on buying drop in triggers, yes there better, but not all them need it thanks a ton brother
GREAT video guys!!! LOVE THIS!
Stupid video. Always put the mag catch in before the bolt catch
Best video I've seen hands down!
Great video. I live in Melbourne and just saw your place on John Rhodes yesterday. What a bizarre coincidence.
thank you
Very helpful video nevertheless
This is an AR15 platform, not an AR10. The AR10 is an Armalite exclusive. With that being said, unless it's an actual Amalite brand rifle, it is not an AR10. Real AR10s are pretty uncommon actually. If you ever find yourself questioning rather your rifle is AR10 or AR15, then you probably don't have an AR10.
Without a doubt the best video I have found to date. Why can't they all be this logical?
Great video – very helpful. Sorry that the tech tyrants are creating so many problems.
Great video but the title may be a little misleading. As the the 5.56 build, a couple steps are a little different than the 308 receiver build depicted in the video.
This is easily the greatest video ever made. I'm legitimately about to start crying.
First! This is a great build guide! It provided all the information that I needed to build my LF receiver set
