I don’t know why BCM and Daniel Defense don’t have ambi-controls like ADM does its just mind blowing that said as a lefty with a oversized bolt catch I can reach with my trigger finger I don’t need it on both sides but a ambi-mag release is a must and I kind of like the Strike are there any other good ones out I love my Noveske one but I don’t know who makes it?🤯🔫🍄

The two SI's release way to easily with just brush into things. I kept it on my 18" long gun but bought a MARS-L, expensive, poor QA but the best ambi controls.

Does the fwd controls work with a bcm lower?

i had to use a razor to cut out some of my stag arms lower in order for my geissele mag release to fit properly.. was kinda pissed about the stag quality. im glad u mentioned spikes lowers suck

I actually regret buying the Strike ambi. Never really used it to my surprise and it was super sensitive. Switched back to regular mag release and just an extended bolt catch. Works like a dream that way imo. – Fellow Lefty

I got a knights armament ambi mag release for my rifle build all i heard was its huge, but i trust the company since its pretty well known for being reliable when it comes to their SR-15 platform and parts

I've watched a lot of left handed AR videos, especially about 18 months ago when I was building my left handed AR and this is the first time YT has recommended your videos. A lot of good info as my LH AR still has a RH lower and I'm building a regular RH 300Black pistol. Thanks for the info.

Glad I watched this video I was just getting ready to purchase the strike industries ambi mag release but I’m right handed an definitely don’t want my mags falling out every time the rifle is resting at my side.

Im right handed but building an ambi rifle for when i take my lefty friends to the range. Thanks for the info, not going w Strike as the rifle is still mine & you mentioned its a no go for us righties lol. Went with the Norgon, tight fit but it works. Cant use the Troy bc of my billet lower, otherwise id try that one. Same issue with Forward Controls Design.

Just got the strike industries mag release and is crap mechanism doesn’t even spring back in properly to hold an empty mag. Has anyone else had this issue.
