I was in the process of purchasing the Vortex Razor 1-10x recently, which is when I found out about the ridiculous Price increase (went from $2000 to $2500)! At that price, I decided to NOT purchase the Vortex and selected the Nightforce ATACR 1-8x, which has much better reviews & features, for $2700.
Who is the prepubescent looking dude that took over from John? Did John retire or something?

I def prefer the vortex reticle. I also have a 1-8 special edition vortex and the reticle on that one is even better than the 1-10.

What?? I got my razor for 1000. 3600 = insanity
Folks need to knock it off with the "MOA is in yards MRAD is meters" they both work just fine with yards. MRAD is simpler to use and much faster, if a bit more course in its adjustments and I only speak in ft/in/yds.
Leupold 3-9x and decent offset RDS. Gives you 2 zeros and it's 1/3 the cost.
Eotech – 21.8 oz $1800
Leupold vx – 12.2oz + 3-4oz RDS with mount
Lighter, far cheaper, multiple zeros, contingency if failure, quick flip between 1x and 3x.
But does it look as cool????
Thats the one downside I have to all my Vortex optics, battery life. I am constantly leaving the thing on and its dead next time I use it, so I have gotten used to using them without illumination.
