  1. Would really like to see you guys test shoot the Savage MSR 15 Recon 2. It is a quality rifle and has very good accuracy. It would likely shoot as good or better than any AR's you have tested.

  2. The only weakness of 6mm ARC is the bolt head on AR15 platform. If the bolt head is made thicker with a non-standard chamber it will be perfect and able to hold full pressure like a bolt gun.

  3. Nice ! I built out a DPMS system back about 10 years ago in .308 Win., with a 24" Cryo'ed DPMS Barrel to go for the big 1,000 yds !
Unfortunately, after 10 years of unemployment, I still haven't shot it. Not even to sight it in. And it was one of the last Cryo'ed barrels DPMS sold before they dropped that option on their website. I tricked it out with a Timney 3-1/2 lb. Skeleton trigger, a Magpul PRS to keep it "Snipey", and 56mm LR scope. Oh well, I'll get around to it someday !

  4. Bullpup is a far superior design in general. Longer Barrel and still a shorter rifle. You can´t argue with this fact.
For example i have a steyr aug with a 21,5 barrel. it sends 55 gr bullets with about 3300 Fps on its travel and the whole rifle is just 31,7 long.
So it has about the lengh of an M4 but a 7 inch longer barrel.

  5. Eric and Chad you guys do an awesome job doing videos and building rifles and explaining what you guys do and why but I’ve got a question for ya I’d like to build my wife a 243 in an AR platform what brand would you guys build?

  6. I have very similiar set up with 6.8spc 18" ss target crown. Its perfect for everything you mention here, but in michigan i prefer the 6.8 for deer.. fun fun set up for sure. Very practical as well.

  7. You should do some videos on surplus rifles and/or budget hunting rifles. Now is the time to either buy or learn to run what ya got. I polished up the trigger on one of my Mosins yesterday and the other is ready to be sighted in. Spent about 150 bucks on a cheap scope mount and a left handed cheek pad with ammo loops. Already had a scout scope for it. Can’t wait to get it sighted in!
