In this episode of TFBTV, Hop is at the SHOT Show 2022 booth for EOtech to see their new ultra-compact 1-10x LPVO.
From EOTech: “EOTECH’s Vudu 1-10×28 offers a robust 34mm, one-piece aircraft aluminum tube and single-piece eyepiece that includes a removable throw-lever for fast changes in magnification. The low profile elevation turret includes a push/pull locking system and a capped windage turret for a secure zero. The illuminated, glass-etched reticle and first focal plane design allows for distance estimation at any magnification and lighting condition.”

This technology is defenatly something to be supported, and Ill purchase one when I get my 6mm arc rifle.

I was expecting Eotech to make the reticle bright as hell. They got roasted for having a really dim reticle in the original Vudu.
So Hop is not the tallest there. This guy is maybe 1/16 over the baseball hat.
Cool design but way out of my price range.

What's the eye box like? Is the 1x even usable?
So glad to see more LPVOs in x28. With the higher magnification in newer offerings, you really see the limits of a 24mm objective for light gathering at 8x and up, or even at medium magnification in imperfect light.

Yeah right the same ring as in the 1-6x? No it wasn't. You went from 68 moa to a 90 moa ring, that disappeared way too early due to that, and just in general not as useful as what was in the HWS.

the 1x is sick but for range would love a Primary Arms reticle in there. No one comes close to what they do with reticles, they are in a league of their own and hopefully Eotech will do what a couple other optics manufactures have done and partner with P.A.
