This is a video on how to install the trigger group on an AR-15. I am using a Spikes Tactical trigger coated in Nickel Boron. It is being installed in a Palmetto State Armory lower. For a video on a complete build on a stripped lower please see personaldfence’s page.

Good tip on using the thumb ON THE HAMMER SPRING to push it down rather than grabbing the hammer and trying to bend it down into place. A "slave pin" makes installation of the trigger group and the hammer group much easier. It would also help if you reviewed the proper orientation of the springs and mentioned that the cross-pins should be inserted from the left side of the receiver with the ungrooved part of the pin inserted first.
Watched a number of others explaining this process…this was best.
Thanks for the video this is the fourth one I had to watch to see how to correctly install the hammer most gloss right over it.
Thank you for the video!!
Wait a minute you just said this is your 1st build and you're already making a video on uh I just sure you want to try a couple times but before you go just put a video out there like this how you do it guys when you want a build 1 1st and then maybe make a video after like the 100th one or something just saying
This guy is the best!!!!!I have watched a lot of videos and all of them stinks….
But the author of this video has a real talent of explanation….
Thanks a lot author!!!You are the best!
why does the pin have a groove on one side? does it go in a certain way as to lock in ?
Helped me reinstall my stock trigger. Thank you!
The number one best video you literally showed me step by step you’d have to be some kind of person to really not know how to do this but everyone else was so confusing and didn’t give the right instructions
I put last spring under the pin, Its a litlle trick for min. Compresy 👍😋
Thanks for the great video… But I must say, LOVE your opening music. CLUTCH ROCKS!! Lol
I'm watching this because I got my spike's trigger in and there's some kind of secondary pin installed through the hammer and hammer roll pin holding it in so I can't take it out. I'm having a really hard time getting it out. Was wondering if anyone else knew why the hell Spike's did this to me.
Very helpful video 👍
AND the nickel boron supposedly needs no lube
Great video man! How is that trigger? do you knwo what the lb is?
Great video, looking forward to seeing this when its done
