BOG DeathGrip: The Best Shooting Sticks

Around Christmas of last year we were introduced to the BOG DeathGrip and after field testing it, we give it an A+ and 110 out of a 100!

The BOG™ DeathGrip Tripod is engineered to be the most stable precision tripod on the market. Its aluminum legs have unmatched durability for hunt after hunt. The patented clamp secures any weapon, hands-free, freeing the BOG™ hunter to glass or call on the hunt with ease. The non-marring rubber jaw protects your firearms when locking it into place and all you have to do is adjust the tension in the head to your preference and all you have to do then is move your shoulder in the direction you want and your firearm now becomes a part of you.

  1. These shooting aids are a very good thing for humane hunting, as they will enable very well-placed shots that will quickly dispatch game. On the downside, part of the fun and challenge of marksmanship is breath control and hand-eye coordination aspect, which tripods sort of cancel out.

  2. This expensive tripod is not worth the money. It is heavy and the swivel points become worn after a couple uses causing the firearm or crossbow not to be held horizontal. Contacted the company and they only said it is not designed to hold the firearm on its own. This video shows differently.

  3. Curious if I could use in my Shadow Hunter blind? Approximately 3.5 wide by 5 long. Or would a bipod be better? Just want to be rock solid! I have some really long shots potentially

  4. It looks like it could be better than standard shooting sticks. My only concern would be how the accuracy is affected on a free float barrel when you clamp that down on the stock.
