do you use a muzzle brake because you like to troll people or are you just not able to tame the huge amount of recoil of 5.56?

I opted for the eotech that takes AA batteries for this reason. But my holosun is the go to
100% Agree, light transmission, reticle (1 MOA dot) and lack of paralax shift (not so much anymore but still considerable) are the big advantages of holographic sights. Everything else swings in favor of a T2 style micro dot.
I like the Eotech as an optic but won’t buy one until they unfuck the battery life.
Sold mine awhile back for a Trijicon MRO and haven’t looked back for that one reason
I want to install my Comp M4s on my SGL-31, which mount is best? I want a light weight small mount. I had a Aimpoint pro with RS regulate Mount and that neat 30mm ring, very small and light but they don’t make a Mount for comp M4 that fits perfect.
The battery life is deal breaker for me with eotech
ARFcom used to be an amazing place if you stayed in the tech sections. Especially early on after 9/11
I look at the aimpoint and eotech as my kids.The aimpoint does the dishes,puts the clothes in the dryer does the dishes,walks the dog,washes the car and still does homework.The eotech is always off so nothing gets done because the battery life sucks.

Dammm this debate has bin goin down since the dinosaurs.IMO the answer is and always will be PERSONAL preference.
My favorite part of the EOtech is the 1 MOA dot. Call me crazy, but I much prefer the dotty looking circle on the EOtech over the smooth circle on holosun optics. Also the clear EOtech glass is great.
I actually prefer the Holosun HS510C over the eotech. It’s half the price and has all the features of the eotech including solar power feature.

My home defence gun has aimpoint pro just leave dot on and replace battery every new years eve. I love the eotech will buy one
You have any thoughts on the Primary Arms SLX 1X MicroPrism? I have an astigmatism so I've been looking at the small amount of options to help with that.

Don't have any time on the m4, but my t2 has been boringly reliable. Ohio weather is pretty nutty at times lol. And the aimpoint has never failed. The eotech is faster though being open and not a tube. In my experience anyway I'm still learning and have aways to go. But the timer doesn't lie
They're redudant now especially Holosun's new emitters in their AEMS has just destroyed Eotech's whole existence, it's only a matter of time before they update their whole line up with it and leaving Aimpoint in the dust.
So what advise do you give to guys with astigmatisms. Are red dots no go or do you tell guys to just run them if they can deal with it. My OCD wants a “crisper” dot. Where do you drawl the line. Also like the fact that I can grab 2-3 Holosuns for the same price…. Have you done any serious testing with prisms?

The Aimpoint PRO is THE best Dot for the money period it has been forever and continues to be.
Unless you have a NV use theres zero reason to buy anything else including anything from the Chinese companies and Eo-tech.
