Finally got the chance to take my Savage Axis in .308 with the Nikon 3-9×50 to the range today and get started setting everything up. Had a great time and everything went quite well. Can’t wait to get it back out and start getting used to the combo.

What rings do you use for that scope rifle combo?
Nice video and great review; congrats on getting such a nice rifle at such a good price. Well done, sir! Also, I think it was a good call on not adjusting a hot barrel. But it is my understanding that most benchrest shooters see their tightest groups after 3-4 rounds down a clean barrel. I don't know if that is superstition but they explain it as getting a little copper in the barrel to smooth out some of the tiny imperfections.
