The host who always has good news to share, Brownells new product team leader Paul Levy, walks us around the new Foxtrot Mike Products (or FM Products) AR-15 Build Kits. Each kit has a complete, fully assembled upper receiver with an M16-type bolt carrier group, lightweight Nitride-finished barrel, classic A2 flash suppressor up front, and a slim full-length M-LOK® handguard. The Picatinny rail on top of the handguard mates up neatly with the flattop receiver rail via a unique locking system, so you have one loooonnnggg monolithic rail for mounting an optic, backup sights, night vision device, or other accessories. The polymer shell deflector keeps your brass from getting dinged up. A unique mounting method ensures the gas block is precisely aligned for unrestricted gas flow, and it’s pinned in place so this gas block ain’t goin’ out of alignment. The carbine kit has a 16″ barrel, mid-length gas system, and a stock and nicely grippy pistol grip from THRiL. The pistol kit has a 12″ barrel, carbine-length gas system, and a stabilizing brace and pistol grip from MFT. BOTH kits include a standard mil-spec AR-15 / M4 carbine receiver extension (aka buffer tube) assembly and standard mil-spec lower parts. The only thing you need to add to build your new AR-15 is your choice of stripped lower receiver.

Im building a M4 clone rn with a bayonet lug, grenade launcher profile barrel, full auto BCG, T3 weight buffer, and a FRT15 trigger group and of course a 3d printed receiver frame.
I wish more companies would make uppers like these without forward assists. These look nice, might use the 16” for a build someday!

When I run the Item Numbers on the Brownells website it shows both of these as chambered in .223 Wylde.
Is that correct?
I just got the FM 9mm, 16", side charging upper. Being in NJ, I have my gunsmith pinning the muzzle brake. Can't wait to set it up.
