I get “just because” as an excuse, but seriously, why? 5.7×28 exists, and can even be found in stock sometimes. 4.6×30… was this done because someone at CMMG lost a bet to Fiocchi?

Well this will make Fiocchi happy. When I worked there this was about $22 a box. Which wasn't too bad.

I've never seen a 4.6×30 in life. what's the point if I can't get a brick of 1000rds? basically a small bat.
What CMMG needs to do is make the upper work on a Banshee 9 lower; and, make magazines/ contract with someone to make magazines to fit and work in Banshee 9 ( or MK9) lowers.
Okay sweet… Now make the ammo so we don't have to look for unicorns.

Consider bringing to market a short 20-rd magazine for this, the 5.7, and 9mm AR conversions.
I hope this isn't going to be another 5.7×28 fiasco: practically unreloadable ammo technology, ammo that was very hard to obtain and very expensive, even before COVID. I was building a PS90 into a P90 and ended up just selling everything related to 5.7×28 in 2020 at cost just to be done with that very impractical caliber.
I was hoping for a 460 Rowland.
Out of all the rounds this is the one you chose to do? I fail to see the logic in this cartridge especially in the USA.

Ik yall aren't about to release a new type of banshee when you still got orders waiting for almost a year. Also those look like the same type of mags that the mk57 uses and been having problems with. Looks cool tho
No Go. This cartridge is designed for Military and Law Enforcement. Civilians will generally not be able to purchase armored piercing rounds or full-auto guns. And if you're looking for a plinker – there are cheaper options.
