  1. Really disappointed with this when I opened it and found it has to be installed with this particular barrel nut. I had already installed a standard barrel nut and gas system. Now, I'm going to have to undo and redo all of it just to put what I thought was the finishing touch on my build.

  2. I spoke to someone on Strike industries facebook. They said the max torque on the barrel nut is 45ft lb. But i cant get the gas tube to align it unless i use all 5 shim that comes with…. Ive been having 5 inch spread at 100 yard target ever since. Never thought it might be the barrel nut. I tried so many parts now i have 2 rifles now lol. But their customer support is very very nice.

  3. Absolutely the worst instructional video I have ever seen and YouTube hosts some bad ones. No Aeroshell33 anti seize grease was used on the barrel nut. Using an expensive optic to bridge your pic rail for alignment???? Really. They make tools for that instead of possibly ruining an expensive optic. No reaction rod was used to support the barrel extension so all that torque was placed on the weakest link in the system the extension pin possibly ruining the barrel and seriously degrading accuracy. Really Strike, if you are going to put out an instructional video do it right. Otherwise your just making your company look bad and contributing to all the rest of the DERP on the internet. I guess there's the right way and then there's the Strike way.
