  1. I hunt with a 300 Winchester short mag and a 7 mm Remington Magnum I shoot 185 out of my 300 and 175 out of my 7 mm. I have never what you so-called destroyed deer with either caliber. Which is because I shoot them behind the shoulder through the ribs and lungs. I also aim for the head or neck if it's a doe. also have a 308 and I use 150s in it for shooting coyotes and it doesn't destroy them. And as far as owning an AR-10 and hiking through the woods I'm sorry that some of us were raised to be men and know how to handle big guns. I will not like nor subscribe to this chennel.

  2. what utter nonsense….like/dislike ratio agrees. I've never seen a .308 destroy a deer. A good hit behind the front shoulder ruins no meat. I do love the 6.5 Grendel though.

  3. Me thinks Eliot DERP just wanted to make a video on his daddy’s channel. 9:33 of non stop talking out of his ass and contradicting himself. Ok daddy DERP, if you are watching this, take your guns away from your squeaky voiced son and ground him from using the camera and wasting everyone’s time. Fml 🤦🏻‍♂️

  4. I got my AR-10 in 243win and 338 Federal I will never go AR-15. In New Mexico big DEER not a small white tale deer.. is a DPMS LR. My 243w got it too 3800fps. That's all I need. Big open space. I can hike 10 miles with it. But I'm a man. When I was young in the 1980's Rifles where heavy 8lbs to 10lbs in a bolt rifles.

  5. I dunno dude, a 20-22” Grendel shoots a 120gr at about 2400-2500ft/s. A 16” .308 will shoot a 175gr at the same velocities. Both rifles will likely still weigh the same, but the .308 will have more muzzle energy in a shorter package. At this point, your only trade off is recoil vs overall length.

  6. America…is why I want an AR10…enough said. The reality is you're only talking about tiny Texas white-tail deer. 30-06/308 works for both big or small deer, just change your shot placement to save meat. Also weight is a none issue for most texas hunting when you're only walking from your truck to the blind.

  7. Having used an M110 SASS (.308) the weight difference isn't that big a deal if you're in ok shape. Having lived in Colorado laws for hunting some deer are too restrictive. Remove all doubt and shoot .308.

  8. Building an AR10 currently. Gonna cost me about 900 but that’s with some higher end stuff. I have an AR15 in 450 bushmaster. (Can’t used tapered cartridges in my neck of the woods). I’ll have both in my gun cabinet.

  9. I wouldn't complain about 308. My AR-10 is real battle rifle. If I needed any of my guns to defend my life with, it sure wouldn't be a 556. I'd go 6.8spc or 308.

6.8spc is actually a better combat round than 6.5 Grendel. It is far more reliable in feeding design, and also cheaper ammo to find and reload. With a 14.5" barrel, and an Adams Arms Piston System, it's light as an AR-15, more reliable with a piston system, and 50% more punch than a 556.
