If you use wooden dowels, magnets and another 1" 2×4 piece, you could drill two holes into the mag chamber, insert some magnets, glue on two other magnets on the dowels, cut them down to line, and stick them to the magazine. So yeah, an idea for a magazine
Use a band saw to cut wood like that one day that wood on the table saw is going to kickback
Use a wood plainer to get desired thickness
overall looks a lot like an ar18
Question, would a circular saw work?
Because I like the Magpul Masada more than the AR15, I made a Masada from wood, and I think it worked out nicely. After the Masada, I thought the H&K G36C would look nice. I hope I'll ever get to continuing my MP5 and my Lee-Enfield SMLE.

Since I read “pepe amazing plan” (Google it), I think nothing will ever surpass it as an excellent woodworking book. The book consists of eye-catching images as well as drawings and also reader-friendly text. I consider this book a "must have" since it gives a broad range of info on just about everything working with woodworking and does it quite well.
