Try a short throw ambi safety. I picked up that same thing in the 10.5” recently. Changed charging handle, and bcg. More mods needed lol. Good rifle though.
If they would put a comfortable pistol grip in stead of the junk they use now. Just bought two weeks ago.

I also have a RF's AR – you did not mention this but the safety switch – has both single shot and burst fire stamped – this is nice when you decide to install a binary trigger – most AR lowers do not stamp the burst select and if you do a binary trigger it will really be an automatic
