AR-15 Reliability Demonstration

I take a Colt 6920 and put it to the dirt test. I pour dirt inside of the AR and inside the magazine to test the reliability of the AR15 rifle. Don’t watch if you’re squeamish!

  1. This it’s so tiresome and stupid

Chances are sooner or later it will failed you that’s why you better keep the action of your weapon “as lean as possible “ it’s just intestevely what you’ll do every gun different systems are more affected than others, so keep your actions as clean as possible and deal with what you got.

  2. Great video and great demonstration of the rifles reliability when using quality mags. It is a sealed system but it will still get sand all through it. Case in point, my M16 in basic down at Parris Island in 2013. During the last day of the crucible we had to fire 10 rounds at some pop up targets. By that point my poor rifle had been drug through so much mud, dirt, sand and water and likely collected a significant ammount of my own sweat lol. I did my best to keep it out of the mud and clean it but you get so damn exhausted and just do what you can to keep moving through the excercise. Anyways when I went to fire those 10 rounds I had either a failure to cycle or a failure to fire on just about every round. Wouldn't even fire the first two or three due to sand being inside the bolt itself. I think it cycled maybe two rounds towards the end. Either way, that was an extreme torture test for the rifle and it was old and beat up to begin with. I run an AR now and would trust my life to it, even in adverse conditions.

  3. I did convoy security in Iraq and done security in Northen Alaska so i have used a AR15 in sand to having my AR15 covered with snow in 40 below zero weather not one time did my AR15 jam or fail in anyway and we had to train every six months in sand and snow and ice and never any jam failed

  4. I talked to some Vietnam vets the other day and I asked em what they thought about the m-16s. First words out their mouths were “garbage”. They also told a story that when they would go on patrols they would find dead marines trying to clean out their m-16. I would say this rifle took a lot of American lives. The most reliable weapon during the war would probably be the m-14

  5. это клоунада верно? я беру песок и сыплю на ЗАКРЫТУЮ затворную раму – да блин я могу тогда на свою сайгу хоть кирпичи высыпать хоть песком ее засыпать

  6. I can keep my AR working with an old tshirt , few drops of rem oil . It’s not hard to maintain an AR at all . Would I stuff marshmallows in the chamber , no but I get the intent for testing and YouTube entertainment

  7. If you’ve ever spent a whole night before a workday watching weapon videos, regardless of you living in a country where self defense is illegal and therefore gotten too late to work, go ahead and hit that subscribe button.
