The quality of this mount can’t be beat for the price. It is made in the USA and the machining quality shows. It slides on so if you have a rear sight it adds another step if you want to take it off for some reason. I have a Leupold scope mount on another one of my rifles.It is not as well made and I paid more money for it. I have a Nikon 8-32x50mm scope and this mount provides the eye relief I need..
