  1. I love this thing but now I have so much carbon build up I can't remove the CRD concussion reduction device. Anyone have this same issue? If so, what is the solution?

  2. Got one on a pistol build with a 10" Davinci Arms Leggero handguard and a 10.5" Aero P 5.56 barrel. It's flush with practically no gap and I love it. The shroud (CRD) is also compatible with many of Strike Industries' flash hiders and compensators. Right now I have it on a King Comp and the wire cutter prongs stick just past the rim of the shroud.
I got mine off of Brownells. As far as I can tell, Ferfrans seems to have possibly discontinued it – not sure why – but you can still find it on various gun sites well enough. Ferfrans is a Filipino-based company that went into action to help equip their law enforcement after the crime got out of hand with weapons. They seem to only have a few rifles from what their site shows.
It would be fantastic if there were a suppressor that was compatible with these muzzle devices so you could quickly switch between the CRD or suppressor. Not sure how Strike Industries got involved with compatibility, unless that square base is on other muzzle devices out there? Their Oppressor has a similar design to attach to the same muzzle devices. It's a shame the design seems to be discontinued. For one, it would be nice if they had a set screw instead of the pin on the bottom of the lock ring for better cleaning.
