It is time for another 1st Look. In this video I try out the new Atibal X 1-10 LPVO (Low Power Variable Optic) as well as the Ultradyne Sights. *Both of which I mounted on my Q Sugar Weasel, chambered in 5.56mm.*

Starting with the Ultradyne Sights, I get them secured with the help of my Fix-It-Sticks. After that I jam some mags with Minuteman Munitions 55gr, get a quick 50 yard zero followed by some unconventional shooting positions around my vehicle. The same goes for the Atibal X which I have mounted in a Bobro 35mm QD Mount. Next, off to the 200 yard line…

Both do a pretty good job for me right out of the gate. I’m looking forward to putting in more time with both of them.

  1. I was watching this video because of the scope, however your shooting technique really caught my attention. Fast left to right hand switch, very good. You looked proficient with both options. Even shooting heads down ass up under your vehicle didn't phase you. Not many of us ambi shooters around. We are a rare breed indeed. Well done. Oh the scope review? Good too. Wish we could get them here in Australia.? Rock on Bro. Cheers.

  2. Its funny guys have never seen irons like these before. Strange concept? Not hardly, they have been on target style 22lr's for more than 60 years. With the ultradyne c4 flip up irons, i shoot a hair over moa 10 shot groups with my Noveske. So to say they are great, is an understatement. I wish other companies offered precision iron sights for the ar platform.

  3. I am looking at the Atibal X 1-10 LPVO for a 16 inch HBAR 308 build that I just completed would that scope be a good choice?? I have a 20 inch 308 that I build during Christmas with Ballistic Advantage Premium Stainless Fluted Barrel and I put a Nikon Black FX1000 6-24x50mm MOA Illuminated Scope on it and its working out GREAT but I want the 16 inch to be a Plinkling rifle but also be able to be used as BATTLE Rifle is something was to happen. I have plenty of AR15s in 556 and 300BO but I wanted to get a couple of 308s since I did not have a Battle RIfle Caliber in my Weapons Locker. Thank you for any and ALL info! 4. Those irons remind me of the front and rear peep sights on our high school rifle team back in the 70’s. Worked well in our lowlight range, but not sure how well they would have worked outside in the bright light….

  5. What rifle from Q is that? I haven't found anything like that on their site. A local gun store had one but they were too busy to answer questions (COVID-19 rush of customers).
