MK 18 is the first AR i have ever owned.
The fact that you can run 556 or 223 Ammo makes it better to locate ammo.

I own one. This is the softest shooting AR ever. Absolutely phenomenal. Daniel defense has things figured out. Well worth the cost.

When I decided to get a mk18 I went with a Colt upper with a .070 gas port.At that time DD mk18 was way over gassed because they wanted it to function with a variety of ammo.I think the gas port size was .083,well my Colt functions just fine with Barnul mil spec steel cased ammo.DD went to a .070 gp and now its a dam fine weapon.

Does anybody in here reccomend the Folding stock or is that not a good idea? Does the Folding adapter affect performance at all? The MK18 I ordered has the Law & Tac folding adapter on it, but Im not sure I like it. Just curious what everyones thoughts are on it…leave it on or remove?

Front sight should go more forward. Rear should go more back. And red dot can get moved forward also.
The government export model is available at times. Search DD mk18 Socom. This version has the wrong gas block and the unsightly white lettering on the upper.
