  1. Too wide? You're probably the only person to ever have a problem or complaint of "too wide"! Lol. Thats my main turnoff from the Trinovid HD, narrow FOV.
Dont get an SF or NL if you dont like wide views haha.

  2. Dont get the point of „not needing this binocular“ cause you can see everything with ur eyes. It is definitely 8x powered and just got a wide fov but that’s doesnt mean that magnification is less than 8x?! Sorry but that’s so misleading..

  3. Mr. Exotica,

Awesome reviews. Super super helpful and unbiased. Thank you!!
Please keep them coming. I really like how you show through the binos in the video

I do have a quick question.

I have narrowed my choices to

    1. Zeiss Conquest HD 8×42
    2. Monarch HG 8×42

your Conquest HD 10×42 review you comment on the CA and it is visible in the video.
In this video of the Monarch HG 8×42 you make little mention of it other than it is well controlled and minimal. I see a little bit of it in some the shots. In the comments below I see you gave a nod to the Monarch HG.

Between the Conquest HD 8×42 and the Monarch HG 8×42 which one will have less CA (or at least would you expect to have less if you have not yet tested the Conquest 8×42)?

Thanks in advance. Again, I really appreciate your work.

  4. I didn’t even know Nikon made these. I may just have to pick up a pair, though not thrilled about the ergonomics and mechanical deficiencies. I can’t believe they’re still using lousy caps and no way can that focus wheel be designed that poorly. If you decide to keep them I’d send them back for a replacement from BH. If that doesn’t fix the problem, send them in to Nikon for repair. That’s just not acceptable at $867. Enjoyed the review, as usual. Keep up the great work. Your #1 fan …
