The Guard is a further extension of CMMG‘s specialized AR-15 line, best known by its predecessors the Mutant (7.62X39mm) and the Anvil (.458 SOCOM). The Guard is chambered in the common .45 ACP cartridge and uses standard .45 caliber Glock magazines. The rifleΒ is constructed to be suppressor ready utilizing a Radial Delayed Blow-back system to turn this one out to be a very soft shooter. 1. Did you forget to insert the fixed barrel spacer on your can? You could see it jumping when you were shooting… I've seen people ruin their cans like that with the baffle strike during rapid fire.

  2. Great video, I'd love to get one of these as an SBR. I do have one suggestion for when you use suppressors on that, in the suppresdor mount use a fixed barrel spacer instead of the spring.

  3. This is the first time in a long time that I've ever been excited for a new gun! Being a 1911 fiend, I have lot's of .45ACP and with this rifle I'll get a Glock 21 and live out the old cowboy carbine concept of having both my side arm and long arm in the same caliber.

  4. PPU ammo has been some of the most consistent ammo ive tried. ive never heard someone refer to it as "poor quality" until now. 9mm, .45, 7.5×55 , .223 and 7.62x54r for my mosin PU sniper all love PPU/Privi Partizan

  5. How would you folks compare/contrast this with the CSA45; especially suppressed? I'm interested in the notion of which one produces (not theoretical – but real experience) the least amount of gas in the face. Which one would make the best home-defense PDW. I really like using subsonic ammunition with more 'impact' power given relatively the same (subsonic) velocity.
