Just a small note to add this review! My light actually survived a cycle in the washing machine. Apparently I forgot the remove it from my pants. My wife found it in the washer after the cycle finished. Thankfully she found it before putting everything in the dryer! But it does prove to me that this light is family water resistant, as it works perfectly still 😁
I agree with you on the things they could have done to make it better but I also think that's what makes this flashlight affordable, now upgrading that dam push button would be a good start! I have been carrying the 45lm AAA Microstream for 2 years and actually just gave it to my wife to carry in her purse now that I have my (coyote) new rechargeable Microstream. Its a great day when you get your new EDC pocket torch and introduce someone else to EDC, that never has ! This light is very bright, cant believe the difference between the two. As long as you have a usb cable in your home & vehicle you should be good to go !

My EDC flashlight is Streamlight Protac 2L-X. Length is right at 6" diameter is .75". Lumen output is 500 on high, 100 on low. Sequence is high, strobe, low. It is also ten tap programmable so button sequence can be changed if desired. Same style 2-way clip. It runs on either 2 CR123A batteries or one 18650 rechargeable battery. Runtime with 2 CR123A batteries is 2.5 hours on high, approx 6-8 hours on low. On a single 18650 rechargeable it runs for approx. 3.5 hours on high.Price point is just under $50. IPX-6 waterproof rating. You should consider selling this one as well.
I carry one of these daily they are excellent little light.
