This video outlines the basics to replace the rear standard switch assembly of a Streamlight TLR-2 HL G with a Remote Rear Assembly Switch needed to run a touch pad for the light. The touch pad can then be mounted to your gear.
The TLR-2 HL G is a light laser combo featuring a 1000 lumen output (HL) with a Green laser (G). The light features laser only, light only, or both. There is also a strobe feature (not shown) used by tapping the touchpad once and quickly holding down again on the touch pad.
Tools you will need to change the door switch assembly:
– Mulipurpose tool (leatherman) or needle-nose pliers
– Rear Remote Assembly Switch
– Streamlight Touch Pad
– Streamlight TLR-2
