  1. Are you sure those are the same? I have both and the Aeros wayy better. There's no comparison. The Aero has an upper and lower tensioning screw, has a set screw to keep the rear take down pin detent spring in, a slightly flared mag well, and a set screw as a bolt catch retainer instead of a roll pin. The PSA is just a plain old mil spec lower. Did I happen to get a higher end Aero lower? I wasn't aware there were lower end versions of this lower from Aero.

  2. The problem with how palmetto sells their stuff is they rely on a store they're competing with to do all the paperwork. It's just like the motorcycle industry. Guys buy tires online then want the discount tire mounting. We charge another $40 per tire if you don't buy the tires from us. Which is fair. We are not a charity

  3. I personally think aero M4E1 is a better choice for features/quality but i do love PSA for there stand with the 2A and getting a reliable rifle in more American hands for a great price. Which is why I have both! Can't go wrong with either👍

  4. My last lower from Aero was $120, that was full retail in Los Angeles plus the other fees. I tried to purchase a lower cost lower from PSA and was told that the fee was $125. Luckily PSA allowed me to cancel my order. CA is nuts.

  5. Says both are the same…. except the aero wobbles and never mentions triggers. Palmetto usually puts a free polish on theirs and it feels better for it. Palmetto for sure.

  6. I got burnt on PSA. I purchased a complete rifle before the company upgraded there engineering and inspection. Its not a good a rifle. The BCG is loose and does not function very well. The weight is almost 10 lbs. And it came with a 1:9 barrel, apparently cause all my jams when I'm shooting brass. I will rebuild the rifle (one day) with updated PSA parts. But for now im starting with the Aero stripped lower to build my "Gucci" gun.

  7. Give examples of the "quality control" issues that you keep mentioning about on the Palmetto. I also find it interesting that you're actually having QC issues with the Aero but yet you ding Palmetto and say "it's a one off" that you have issues with Aero.

  8. I've put together a couple of no logo Anderson lowers a couple of Aero lowers but no Psa.I used Cmmg parts kits in all of them. The Anderson lowers are mil spec, went together with no problem and no fitting. They also had the keyhole forge mark on the trigger housing like my Colt m4a1socoms.They also function like my Colts. The Aero M4e1 and Gen2 looked good but were not mil spec.Imagine putting them together and the take down pins and safety don't function.Luckily I knew how to remove the take down pins and trim the springs and the safety spring.I know I should've checked them but I'm used to the Andersons just working. The problem with the Aeros was the spring purchases are too short.I won't buy anything Aero again.Anderson no logo lowers will be my go to lowers if I ever need a quality value priced lower.

  9. I love both companies. I have built exclusively with Aero simply because…. Well, i love the look of the M4E1 and the M5, Yeah… Lame. BUT, I LOVE PSAs dedication to getting as many lowers out there as possible. They are a huge supporter of the 2A and are every bit as good as any Aero. Not to mention that PA has some of the best names for their lowers. (Still want the Joe Biden lower. lol)
Regardless of anyone's choice, they cannot go wrong. If you are on a budget and simply want the bare Mill Spec look, or a funny design and fire control labels on the lower, PSA All The Way. If you want something that give a semi billet look with 7075 alum, that cost a bit more, Get an Aero. (Or get both and be a coin-a-suer) Just buy, buy… buy … buy…, bye

  10. After dealing with the threaded bolt-catch pin instead of having to drive in a roll pin, on top of the integrated trigger guard saving me from dealing with intalling one, I never want to assemble another lower other than the Aero M4E1. Now that they have the upper and lower Clint Smith weighed in on, I'm very interested in one of those.

  11. i like palmetto i just bought a little while ago one of there ak47s and build an ar15 on there site with what they got had to get a different company charging handle because they were out but the rilfes work great only thing i dont like is the stock mount for the ak i got but everything else is amazing

  12. I agree except one one thing. As i tell people if you're going to get into ARs or AKs… buy the tools needed to work on them even if they're cheap ones….. Also, i double check everything on a complete lower, just to make sure.
