Latest build based on a billet, Wilson Combat upper and lower receiver(s). The upper receiver is purpose built and stamped for the 458 SOCOM. it has a BRO bolt carrier group. I like 300gr Underwood and Great Lakes ammo. The buffer spring is a JP Enterprises (not JP Precision).
A bit costly to shoot but well worth it.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that had quality issues with Wilson combat. They did drill out my mag release hole to proper size lol
Nice build. I am thinking about building one, in the future, and appreciate all the details you have went through. I like details! Hopefully ammo and parts will be available agai in 2021?
LaRue trigger is $75 if you buy 3 at a time & its as good or better than many $250+ triggers.
Just ordered a Tromix .458 barrel, excited!
Hey have you looked into the Super42 tri-wire braided spring form Giessele. Its done wonders taming the 50 beo! that and the heartbreaker tanker break make it a joy to shoot! no more green and yellow collarbone from the bench, seated or prone.
Can you do a favor and list all the stuff you used in the build
Thank you.
How much does this cost.
If I had this gun I would really like a zombie to fuckin try me
I love this gun. I love it. I've only had a ruger 40. But I really want a socom ar
Billet is NOT as strong a forged. Billet is for appearance.
Can you use a standard ar 15 lower with a 458 socom upper?
What hand gard is this
I’m no big deal, but that is visually beautiful. Nice build…
I think its pretty gay when you have to please the fuckfaces and "make it safe" for them…….every fucking video…same bullshit..
Are those Magpul offset irons?
What scope is that?
Did you loctite the hand guard?
What brand bolt/bolt carrier did you go with?
