The problem with your buttstock is the buffer tube itself its a civilian buffer tube change it out to a milspec tube. Otherwise you won't be able to shoulder the weapon correctly

Idk if this is already in the comments or not but the ctr stock has a friction lock that’s supposed to reduce that wobble. I don’t have one but there might be a tension screw or something you can tighten up to reduce wobble. Then you would have your adjustability back. Also I don’t know how any of the laws work in Cali. (Im in ohio) but what is the reasoning behind breaking the upper and lower apart? I built one of my rifles with an aero lower they definitely make it easier than a standard lower and aero has uppers and lowers for sale in their blem basket on their website I check it daily lol. I have a silver 3.5 lb trigger in one of mine I got from aimsurplus.com it looks sweet and shoots even better. I’m definitely gonna check that light out I like how it mounts I have a Smith&wesson light I got on sale for my home defense gun. Sweet build tho man it’s definitely addicting and easy to turn a “budget build” into something you have to get insurance on 😂😂😂 . I made the mistake going into my first build without a plan and have changed everything atleast once and ended up with enough spare parts for a second build 🤷♂️.
Juggernaut tactical makes a hillfighter takedown pin. I have it works great recommend it. I didn't build my AR it came preinstalled from the gunshop.

You ever tried the tarus g2c 9mm/40 it cost like 100-200 some or thr ati omni ar15 or ar15 pistol it's like 300-400 some it's all polymer but inside is metal or the Smith and Wesson 40

Hey bro nice build. I think what may have happened with the stock is the buffer tube size. There is “commercial” size and “mil-spec” size and you have to get the stock that matches. Commercial is just a hair bigger in diameter than commercial. To me, it sounds like you may have a mil spec buffer tube and bought a commercial sized stock, and that’s why it was loose. Like the comment so he can see it!!
