I thought like .223 and 5.56 was only accurate to about 300-400 yards
I thought 5.56 was really only good to like 400 yards

Lies!!!!😉 just kidding buddy!!! Excellent calling your own shots and accounting for them👌🏼😎
The sound is so satisfying
What will b the results with 26 inches barell and 30 inches barell
Admin or any 1
Jesus Christ dude, it’s called a push up…How do you operate a rifle that weighs more than you.
How High above the milk jug were you aiming?
the round still has about 230 ish ft lbs at that range and its only about 1150 fps but still works
Amazing!
Damn….
which bullet are you using?
✊🏻✊🏻
Great video. What scope are you using and would a 24 or a 26 inch barrel be recommended. I have a coyote problem mainly early and evening.
Thanks
What ‘s the twist of this barrel?
And people says it wont kill at those distances. Bet you they never seen LR Combat
Wish we had ranges near me like this 800 furthest and not a challenge at all
How the hell do you see the milk jug lol at 1000 yards i cant even see the milk jug with my 6-24×50 vortex
When do you guys do the milk jug challenges?
Dude, that's Jerry Miculek style long range. I'm very impressed. Kudos – and – SUBBED
Guy told me about this and I expressed doubt, saying that's 50 BMG, .416 Lapua type range, and he shot me a link. That's so outside the scope of what the .223 designers had in mind. Bloody fine shooting.
Great video! What are your thoughts on using a 20” AR15 for learning and getting started on long range shooting? I’m thinking about purchasing a nice optic (Nightforce NX8 2-20) and using it on an AR15 for now, and then moving the optic to a bolt action 6.5 or something later on when I have a better understanding of long range shooting. Thank you!
9:16 is such a good call from the spotter. Excellent situational read.
Nailed it! I need to get like this…
i wish this video had a build list
Fg
Gun? I usually call them weapons. More military lingo
Thats called milspec
Nice Shooting Man… I didnt Even Know .223 Was Capable of that Distance, But I'm Assuming is All ABOUT PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE…
I decided to build my 223 white oak barreled AR because of this video. Awesome build.
What grain are you using?
whats the barrel twist rate? Scope info? maybe I overlooked it
Working with a 24" spiral fluted .223wylde on a dpms upper and lower, precision single stage trigger pack, luthar precision stock and a cheap but oddly reliable 6x16x50 monstrum FFP scope, sode rail mounted bipod and a flat based pistol grip.
I am working 800 yards in consistent 8 inch groups.
But I live in Maine and finding a longer distance that isn't filled with hills and dense forest is next to impossible (some dang law about not distance shooting on the interstate…)
Thus…
My rifle and I want to go much farther.
And so
I envy your wide open spaces out in Utah, wow!
Looks like I will have to make a trip there at some point just to try out a 1000 yards and more.
Great video!
That's fricken incredible. I just put together an SPR with 18" WOA .223 barrel and a Viper PST II 5-25. I'd love to try 1,000yds! This video certainly gives hope with the .223 haha
Hey I just came on to your guys channel as im new to long range shooting. just got my first bolt action rifle a .308 remington 700 sps aac-sd tactical. I really enjoyed the scope mounting video. Im sorry to hear about communist youtube and their fascist ways. Keep doing what you guys are doing. I live in Los Angeles so I understand the stupidity. Thanks for the videos and I hope to one day come over to your range when I get alot better. Thanks!
Impressive shooting. Very impressive.
Well done Dr Sniper…
curious, what powder are you using?
why are all these beta's afraid of gun sound. Do u get sensory overload then need a safe space? f these stupid cans on guns.
what brand is the barrel?
i need some help deciding which 223 rem gun is better to buy as i'm looking to buy one, can you please advise
Brice what kind of bipod is that
I shoot my match conditioned AR-15 commercial equivalent of US Service Rifle in NRA Long Range Competition where I hold a High Master Classification, earned with irons, shooting in match rifle division; yet, with the iron sight .223 Service Rifle, my best score, which was shot in a prevailing 4mph crosswind, was only a 192. Now, here's the thing, to get an 80 SMK bullet to 1000 yards nose-on from my rifle requires a 24.8 grain load of RE-15. This loading would not keep the bullet stabilized much beyond 1000 yards and loading to a higher velocity would be dangerous. So here's my question, what's your loading that gets your bullet from an 18 inch barrel to 1500 yards nose-on in other than ideal (non-existent) wind conditions?
What is the max effective range of that AR???
One possibility for those weird flier rounds is your bullet is going through the sonic-subsonic barrier at about 1015 yds based on Ballistic AE. I haven't had experience with the Burger bullets but have been told they handle it better than others. My 77 SMKs go batshit when they transverse the barrier. Smaller bullets just don't do as well with it as the big boomers. For you to get any consistency afterward is damn impressive. Your reload short of the bullet appears to be exactly what everyone else I know using an AR set up in PRS competitions is running.
Just found your channel!!
Love it already. 👍👍
So much for one shot one kill.
I love to come out and try this
