How to build AR-15 Lower Receiver

My jack lower is screwed brand new out-of-the-box every time I put a upper on it, it wobbles back-and-forth Lower is screwed. That’s just mine tho you could get lucky and get a good one.

I have had an AR lower and all the lower parts for a couple of years, but my lower is not drilled out and I can’t get a kit and tools to drill it out. Tried to get help but the gunsmiths and gun shops say they cannot do the lowers. How can I get the lower drilled out. I Have hand drills but not a drill press or access to a CNC. HELP!

its called a buffer tube retainer and retainer spring. you also called the bolt catch spring a safety spring? and a safety detent?

It’s easier to push the mag release button in the whole way and spin the catch at first

great video nowadays its cheaper to buy a stripped lower and a lower parts kit since the pre assembled prices are horrible lol

You should look at a 1/4" clevis pin for the pivot pin install. Much easier.

Little known fact. Some manufacturers of AR style rifles use and refurbish used receivers as new rifles. Not that it affects performance but what if you bought a new car with a refurbished engine.
