Which Streamlight For You TLR1, TLR7, TLR9 | New Owners Guide. We have a ton of options for lights these days. Streamlight has given us some great ones like the tlr1 and the tlr7 which I have carried for a long time. If you are one of the many new owners out there you may want a new tactical light an streamlight is a great option. Each one has it own place the tlr1 is the duty work horse where the tlr7 is more of a concealed carry light. Candela and lumens are different with each one of these and will greatly depend on the size when choosing which streamlight is for you.

  1. I have the TLR-1 HL and I can't imagine I'll be changing that to something else. I bought a concealment holster and a owb holster for it on my CZ P-10c. Those lower versions are ok, but ithe TLR-1 is what I would still choose. And I also don't see my needing an extra 200 lumens that the newest version you mentioned.
I think the TLR-1 HL hits that sweet spot for me. Great video, thank you. 😎👍

  2. I’ve got a 19.3 with a TLR-1HL on it. I don’t know if it has been mentioned, but the newer TLR-1HL has 1000 lumens and 27,000 Candela, bit of an update from the one you have on your.

  3. About a year ago you did a video on the Olight pl2 (I think) your pros seemed to be that its durable, bright, small and affordable. Overall great for concealed carry.

Cons were the battery/light didn't last long enough for duty use and that quick release tab could get caught on things..
Overall you seemed to like it.. fastward I saw you make a comment saying there are lots off issues with olight. Can you do an update on this? I have a pl mini 2 on my 320, I dont really punish it. but it does always turn on. Why would I spend double for one of these lights over olight? Maybe you could do a comparison/torture test video on common carry lights and then the same for duty lights? Olight does have battery operated options too which may be better for duty

  4. A gen19?? TC confirmed time traveler!

    Also digging the new backdrop!

I really am impressed with streamlight's products so far. I have a Inforce APLc, and while it looks better, the Inforce has a bad habit of not activating the way I want it to. It flickers and temporary activation will stay on when I release the button on its on whim. My TLR7 however responds accordingly over the span of two years.

I hear Inforce however also recently this year upgraded their lights to compete with Streamlight's new lineup. So I'll look forward to hearing your opinion on them when you have a chance to grab them!
