  1. The lower doesn't make a whole lot of difference from what I've heard. The upper needs to have an MP tested bolt carrier group, chrome lined barrel with a good twist rate, a lightweight barrel profile, and any charging handle will do really.

  2. I am looking at building an AR with a Daniel Defense lower and Bravo Company Lower. That or flip flop that and throw a DD upper and BCM lower. Anyone have any input? I'm somewhat new to the AR realm. A recent convert from the AK world hahaha!

  3. @iluvmym4 Its not as light as having a Magpul MOE handgaurd or other plastic furniture, but for being a metal free float rail system it is very light, I think the Gen 2 model is lighter too. I would definitely go with this again and if not, probably a Daniel Defense rail.

  4. @GlocksInABox The front sight base isn't too distracting when using an eotech sight, if anything it helps you center the Eotech reticle faster and is great for CQB targeting. See if I had to use the fsb with an Eotech on duty, I wouldn't mind, it's a duty gun, but since this is my personal AR-15, I am going to be purchasing a flip up front sight sometime in the future. I suggest you do the same if you don't mind spending the extra money.
