I tried the other high lumen toys and got burned on their warranties because of high failure rates. I used a Streamlight Led Strion for 9 years and only wore out two tail cap switches. That equates to 1 warranty claim for every 4.5 years. I then switched to a couple of high lumen toys for two years. I had 3 warranty claims in two years and two of those were lights that died within the first month. I got fed up with buying high lumen junk and went back to Streamlight. I have the HLX and 2LX that run on 18650's and love them both. The HL-X is a monster. Streamlight builds a great light and banks them worth a lifetime warranty… not 2 or 5 year warranty! Oh yeah, their headquarters and repair department are in Pennsylvania not China…so you don't have to wait months for you light to be fixed or to receive parts.
great light for 10440 cell
First video I've seen with the updated clip! Thanks for sharing. Will be starting my own videos soon. Streamlight has made a lot of small upgrades to several of their lights for 2016, as seen on their website. Will subscribe!
I recommend the Olight S1 or the Thrunite Archer 1A for an upgrade, depending on what batteries you like, or the Foursevens Preon P1 if you want AAA still. Or Surefire Titan (if you have money and want a bombproof AAA light)
