  1. I envy your life bro. hopefully when I retire next year from the special forces group you will hire me free of charge to just you know…..touch cool stuff and such. I'll even be your janitor or driver. 😩🇺🇸

  2. Thanks for the review. I’ve had my eye on one of these for a while to replace a Vortex ranger 1000. I’ve read these have a very good beam divergence and the readings come back very fast. I think I’m going to pull the trigger on one finally.

  3. I may be wrong in my thinking so please correct me if I’m wrong but a target does not have to have light on it to be reflective. Metal and flat surfaces are more reflective than vegetation because it’s able to concentrate/focus a higher percentage of whatever radio/infrared/light waves back. For example I can range objects in complete darkness and have been able to do so out to 820 yards so far. I have not tried out any further than that.

  4. I’ve been able to range trees with my Nikon rangeX 4K out to 1800-1900yds consistently. Also got consistent readings off buildings out to 2400-2500yds all hand held with no support. It was evening weather so no mirage, clear skies and little wind.

  5. I don’t see why they didn’t add a 1/4-20 thread on the bottom. I hate the fact you have to add a clunky aftermarket tripod adapter. Other than that I agree, they are decent for the money.

  6. Dang, Frank it sure beats the hell out of an old Barr and Stroud military rangefinder!!! Thank God for laser rangfinders!!!! Great info thanks. I still have my old Swarovski Laser Guide 8×30 Laser Range Finder 70002. It will still hit 1600 on a good day. I'd like to have one of the old Vextronix pocket laser rangefinder. Take care and Merry Christmas my friend, flea

  7. I haven’t seen them under $400. But I love mine, I’ve hit a house consistently at 2600 so I think your downplaying it some. Blamm enterprises makes tripod mount
