I love stream light. Have 2 trl on my pistol and never had a problem. Not as good as surefire and not as expensive as surefire but performs close to surefire.
does it come with the screws to mount it to a scout mount?? I got a Thorntail I'd like to use for it

Installation question…When you use the included clips, did you slide the pressure pad into the clips and then clip it on the the rail? Or, is there a better method?

I have always been a fan of StreamLight products, but THIS is freaking awesome. They have really given Surefire a run for the money with these lights. Fantastic value.
This is a FANTASTIC review…thinking about one of these for an MPX, but with keymod hand guard, it requires the 2" picatinny rail to mount (or so I thought) and then it sits too far away from the gun, in my opinion. I want this to sit nice and tight against my hand guard… Your line about it being able to use any scout mount caught my attention though since there's tons of keymod mounts for the scouts. Does it have to use a specific scout mount (1" loops?) or can you clarify? Maybe a few links for low profile, very slim and simple keymod mounts?

Can you mount the GEARselect on the top picattiny and get the same light placement? (i have picattiny top rail with key mod side rails)

Streamlight hit a Grand Slam with this light IMO. Just got mine and yeah, they have thought of everything thats important, compatible and needed and put it all together for under $100 actually, the model 2's are $109 as well.
