  1. This legislation would dramatically reduce mass shootings but won't do anything about the 100,000+ deaths from the drug trade, since their guns are all illegal to begin with. Without major reforms to drug laws, we will continue to see the mass shootings that are NEVER talked about. Gee, I wonder why that is?

  2. Gun control doesnt work, universal background check requires a registry and also doesnt work, high capacity mag ban means citizens will have less firepower to fight back, the day foreign enemies may ever touch our land. No gun reform, no gun control. On this issue.

  3. I trust Donald Trump and every possible future leader enough to let them control all of the weapons and ammunition. What could possibly go wrong? I mean Trump and other leaders would never send in armed police or military to shut down a protest if we gave up all our guns. We can trust every possible government for all time. We do not need to protect ourselves from the leader of the US military…….. Or do we?

  4. We will not ever allow you to disarm good law abidimg citezens. We already tried an "Assault weapons" ban go look what the CDC said no effect you did nothing to stop gun violence. We got a nice steamy ontray of Colunbine during said ban.

  5. Look everyone, look at what is happening to people in countries with no second amendment. It is a massive problem when the government knows that only they have any ammunition or firepower. Surely Tibet and Hong Kong would be very different discussions if the people who were protesting also had guns and ammunition. Xi would have a much harder time rolling over them like he is. If protesters have the ability to fire back then police think twice about how they treat protesters

  6. Wow. Poll within one of the most left leaning channels, and it ends in 66 percent against even a partial gun ban?

You guys are so hopelessly confused. It's sad to watch. It's so breathtakingly stupid.

Enioy your guns. And your children's school shooter reaction training drills.

Also: stop complaining about mass shootings. You literally choose to have those, based on your insane order of priorities.

  7. My grandpa was against this policy when Beto said it on the debate stage. When I showed him a picture of AR15s on a rack at a sports store he changed his mind because he thought military rifles we're already illegal. I explained they were civilian versions of military rifles and he didn't care. They should be taken away. Don't know if I agree but this was my conservative-leaning grandfather.

  8. 1. We already have hniversal backgeound checks i had to go through 2 to purchase my pistol and i live in north carolina
    2. I find myself skeptical on what impact a registry would bring as it only tells the government what you have and not how you use it
    3. Everyones defenition of "high capicity" is different and differed depending on the type of gun you have pistols have around 8 rounds some carry 10 while your standard hunting rifle might be a semi auto with 20 or 25 rounds (extended magazines arent normally avaliable for purchase by the general public btw)
Overall this strikes me as someone who has a misunderstanding on how gunlaws auctaully work

  9. The Right doesn't own pro-gun arguments. There's plenty of reason and justification for the Left to want to protect themselves. In fact, I think the left could form its own, less disgustingly violence-glorifying movement of responsible gun owners ( I know there are already groups like this, i jus wanna see more).

  10. I blame the Government. You can’t have my firearms and I’m even very concerned about gun-violence. It’s a very big, serious issue and needs to be treated as such. However, you can’t have my computer games and you can’t have my firearms and you can’t have my porn, ‘cause firearms don’t kill, people kill
